Facebook Introduces Photo Tagging Approval Process

The social media giant – Facebook has finally introduced a formal process for photo tagging feature. As per the new process the users will not be allowed to photo tag immediately but rather the consent of the other party in the form of Accept/Reject photo tag will be required before it gets features on the social profiles. The feature comes in as a respite to several users who got annoyed when their friends tagged them to inappropriate photos without their consent. However, things will change now and the users will be required to stick to the set out process in order to avoid unnecessary issues.

The feature was been looked upon as the spam candidate by several others who thought it was a poor marketing gimmick adopted by some marketers. A section amongst them used to post a blog post and late tagged the photos of their friends to draw-in more visitors. However, Facebook has acted tough against such cheap tactics through photo tagging feature.

The new photo tagging features are operational and you need not enable any special counters on the profile for accessing it. Perhaps now you’d notice that the spam levels on Facebook’s network will start dipping down.
