iCloud Communications Ditches Apple Lawsuit

iCloud communications is not so serious about its brand name that has been taken by Apple for promoting its new service. Apple will be launching service by the name of iCloud as part of iOS 5 by fall of 2011. The firm also offers similar services under a registered name to the users across the globe and Apple had been under spot of bother when it announced the release of such services to the users as part of the proposition. Probably, Apple has already settled the lawsuit with iCloud communications as an out of court settlement measure to counter the usage of a registered name.

The announcement of iCloud service would have in fact been a huge source of leads for the mid-sized company. However, it is not clearly known as to why it back tracked from its decision of suing the gadget maker.

The cloud based solutions haven’t really kicked off in the competitive market space and it will be intriguing to note if iCloud can reverse the industry trend in favor of virtualized services. The plethora of dedicated solutions are slowly becoming the order of the day amongst the users and iCloud is all set to become an integral part of business users.
