Twitter Developer Event Authenticates iOS 5 Release by October 10th

Recent reports suggest that Twitter has planned a couple of ‘Developer Teatimes’ for October 10 and October 12 with a major emphasis on the Twitter’s merging with iOS 5 which was proclaimed earlier in summer by Apple at WWDC. This scheduled ‘Developer Teatimes’ may also suggest that the upcoming update to Apple’s operating system will due in fortnight.

To authenticate the release date of iOS 5, we have collected some other evidences as well. For instance, Apple has notified AppleCare division to get ready for an influx of iOS 5-related queries on October 10, 2011. Also, Apple has rejected and/or cancelled the vacations of its employees for the initial two weeks of October hints towards some big event.

Twitter’s message to developers:

“There’s a lot going on in the ecosystem and we’d like to take this chance to share the highlights with you – including the latest developments with the platform, areas of opportunity that we’re seeing, and a heavy focus on the iOS 5 Twitter integration for developers.”

It seems improbable for Twitter to arrange a public event for iOS 5 before the operating system is made available to public by Apple. Hence, this report all but authenticates the iOS 5 official release to public.

The Golden Master build of iOS 5 is previously reported to be launched between October 23 and October 30. The GM build is yet to be launched and we hope that it will be released this very week and then made available to the assemblers to load it on the forthcoming iPhone which is expected to be launch in mid of October.

The partnership of Apple and Twitter was announced in June and the integration of its iOS 5 with Twitter was exhibited a month back to developers. Users will be able to tweet directly from certain iOS apps and share photos through the social network with this integration.

Several rumors consensus that the next generation iPhone will be announced together with iOS 5 and iCloud on October 4th, while the iOS 5 will be available to public by October 10th and new iPhone will join the party by October 14th.
