Twitter Integration in New iOS 5 Can Be a Security Threat

Twitter integration will be an intrinsic feature of iOS 5 platform that will offer users to photo tweet in real time. The users will be able to share the updates without downloading the native Twitter app. However, there are dark clouds of insecurity surrounding around the new iOS 5. For one the private photos and streams can be exposed to Twitter with the new integrated possibilities. And secondly, the iCloud based proposition can leak the user information in real time to third party sources if apt measures are not taken care of by the users. These hindrances can even fail iOS 5 services on whole.

The new age social integration with iOS 5 enabled platforms will certainly offer enriching user experience but if security goes for a toss these might become big time fiasco. However, going by Apple’s standard these aspects would have been taken care of by the product development teams.

In order to keep the security threats to minimal the users should meticulously follow the best practices and adhere from sharing their iCloud login credentials to anyone. The new service will be launched in fall of 2011 by Apple and all eyes are set on the big release in Cupertino.
