Unsocial Networking – Is Facebook Blocking Google+ Links

The ad world experts are amazed by the cheap marketing stunt adopted by Facebook in blocking Google+ ad links. The social giant has totally banned Google+ ads and promotional videos from its network. Although Google+ was launched, hyped and it has finally died – the analysts are unable to understand as to why Facebook took such a defensive measure at all?

Probably Facebook realized that it will face reeling pressure and traffic diversions if ads of the competing network were allowed on its sites. The end users were pretty enthusiastic in the beginning about the possibilities from Google+ and it looks like those things have finally settled.

Ironically close to 20 million Google+ users signed in within a month of its launch and all that is behind the back now. People have again switched back to Facebook for better social networking possibilities. Facebook’s act has not gone well with folks at Google and they’ve started blocking ads of the Facebook as a favor too. The cheap tactics of Facebook is in fact been criticized by user communities and tech geeks at the same time. So next time up if a third entrant in this space stands against Facebook will they block their ads too?
