Where is Video Chat feature in Facebook

The much hyped Facebook video chat feature is nowhere near and users are feeling betrayed by the social giant. There were rumors of it getting released in August, 2011 within the social profile of the users however, there seems to be no trace of it as yet. The thirds party apps such as Skype and Google chat are still at large popular amongst the users who otherwise thought it would be a great value add if they could video connect with their friends on Facebook. The social giant is dealing with internal policy changes and is perhaps redefining its much criticized privacy management.

The level of information management is scooting up through Facebook and the users are anticipating the update from Facebook from a long time too. The same holds true for their Music services as there is no sign of it even after being announced some time back.

Perhaps the agenda with the development and marketing teams was to deal with the threat imposed by Google+ – which eventually died before taking off. The ball is again in court of Facebook and the business managers in the internal team should rather concentrate on roll out of the services which are held back in pipeline for a long time.
