Apple’s Newest iOS 5 Released Publicly

As announced, Apple has released its latest mobile operating system to the public here on Wednesday. The latest version is rolled out through iTunes to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The new update is launched with plethora of new features including wireless sync, iCloud support and new notification center.

It is important to mention here that the users can only update to new mobile operating system when they have their devices running iTunes 10.5, which Apple announced just a day earlier to the release of newest iOS 5 on Tuesday. If you haven’t install latest iTunes version then install it first to update your devices to iOS 5.

The owners of iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, fourth and third generation iPod touches can have the privilege to update their devices to new iOS 5. Majority of the downloads at the moment demands for over 700MB of space, but it is hoped that the future delta updates will be much smaller in size and tend to install directly from your devices.

Apple introduced its new iOS 5 version just two days ahead of the official launch of iPhone 4S announced back on October 4 in media event. The new iPhone 4S also running the next generation iOS 5.

The latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system also includes a support for iCloud that will enable users to access and sync photos, music, emails and other media via cloud.

Apple not only launched new operating system iOS 5 for iDevices, but also announced a new Mac OS X Lion version with support for iCloud on Wednesday.
