Google Pays Tribute to Steve Jobs on its Homepage

The death of Apple’s co-founder and chairman has shocked many of Apple’s fans all across the world. Many tech industry titans react to the death of the legendary industry icon. Steve Jobs has done a lot for computing, mobiles phones and music industry.

The search giant Google where celebrates different events or days through doodles, paying a tribute to Apple’s visionary on its own conventional way. Google at this sad moment pays attribute to late Apple’s co-founder on its homepage. Just under the company’s trademark search box, you will find a message read as:

“Steve Jobs, 1955-2011”

This is not all; Google also links Steve Jobs to Apple’s homepage where Apple paying tribute to its co-founder and chairman in its own way.

The tragic news of Steve Jobs was announced officially by the Apple on Wednesday evening. Jobs was battling pancreatic cancer since 2004 and his health was falling considerably in last few months. This is why Jobs resigned from the position of CEO in August. He wrote in his resignation letter, “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know.” Perhaps, he was anticipating this day earlier seeing his condition. Rest in Peace Steve Jobs.
