Google Voice Back on the App Store

With the launch of Apple’s latest firmware iOS 5, Google updated its Google Voice app for iOS 5. However, the app was pulled from the App Store because it had some bugs that cause app to crash on sign in.

However, we have come to know today that the official Google Voice app for iOS 5 is back on the App Store. The updated version isn’t only bug-free but also 100% compatible with the latest Apple firmware. The new Google Voice app is now available with some tweaks as well. It was informed to readers through the official Google Voice Twitter account that the app is back on the App Store:

“New iPhone app also improves calling through GV when there is no data: no data required for all numbers previously called.”

The GV app is back on the App Store almost after a week and Google took ample time to fix it. The Tweet is quite interesting to read, particularly when we see different carriers switching to tiered data plans and the carriers providing unlimited data plans like Sprint don’t offer appreciable services.
