Nokia Launches an Affordable Lumia 710

At the Nokia World conference, where Nokia launched its first Windows Phone, the Lumia 800, it also introduced another rather less expensive Windows Phone, the Lumia 710.

The Lumia 710 features 3.7-inch LCD ‘ClearBlack’ display. Like Lumia 800, it has a 1.4GHz processor and 512MB of RAM and 16GB of storage. However, unlike flagship model, it features an only 5-megapixel camera.

Originally, it will be available in stealthy black and crisp white color, but it also offers customization for those who are willing to change the color of their device. It offers back covers in assortment of colors including: yellow, black, fuchsia, white and cyan.

The Lumia 710 will be offered at a reasonable price of €270. Initially, the Lumia 710 will be launched in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Russia and India by the end of this year. However, Nokia hopes to launch it in Europe, Asia and North America in 2012.
