Facebook’s Timeline Feature on the iPad

Back in September, Facebook revealed one of the most interesting features called the Timelines. It is considered as the most comprehensive change since the social networking site first launched in 2004. The new feature transformed the boring news feed to a storyboard-like sense.

The profiles have not only become more personal than before but also appear more inline with the tablet displays with the addition of new feature. Taking hint from the past iPad releases, one cannot expect to have ‘Timeline’ feature integrated into iPad app in near future.

The Loytr, developers of MyPad – popular Facebook and Twitter app, have unveiled their new iPad app that enables iPad users to browse through their friend’s profiles together with Timelines. The developer of the app has right chosen the name as ‘Timelines for Facebook’.

“A beautiful new Facebook experience for the iPad. Flip through the story of your life & view beautiful photos in a new social experience. View profiles as an interactive story that is visually stunning with swipe-based navigation. Flip through profiles and Timelines in alphabetical OR random order.”

However, it is important to note here that the Timeline feature is still in beta and many of your friends may not have started using it yet. If you own an iPad and want to give new feature a try, you can give this new app a try. This app is available absolutely free in the App Store.
