Latest Version of Opera Mobile Browser Released

Opera has just released its latest version of Opera’s mobile browser, called Opera Mini 6.5. The latest version now has support for multiple platforms including: iOS, S60, J2ME and Blackberry.

The latest release of Opera mobile browser also has support for Symbian, MeeGo and Maeno as Opera Mobile 11.5.

Initially Opera Launched Opera Mini 6.5 for Android and three weeks after that release Opera announced its latest version for other multiple platforms. However, the previous and latest versions almost have the same changes and improvements. The most remarkable addition is the counter which tells users how much data have been spent and saved. The counter utilizes Opera’s website compression technology.

One can also see a global counter on the Opera’s official homepage, detailing how much data all its users have saved since November 2, 2011. At present, the counter is stood at over 230 terabytes.

Opera not only improves the performance and stability of its Opera Mini, but also adds support for autocorrect and spellcheck as well as for Google AutoComplete.
