Read and Listen Buttons Reportedly Appearing on Facebook Ticker

It has been reported by some users that they have began to experience ‘Read’ and ‘Listen’ buttons, which Facebook announced during the f8 developer conference of 2011. However, the buttons appear only when users hovering over the content available at the right-hand side of the page on Facebook Ticker.

Although, it is not yet clear how it works, we can assume that when a user click on the ‘Read’ button, it will take him straight the article friend is reading at the moment. The same goes for ‘Listen’ button. When a user clicks on button, he/she will be directed to the music app that is being used by his/her friend.

This will certainly make a social networking experience extremely simple and smooth for the users to navigate through different apps within the social network quite easily. The 800 million users will definitely love the way they navigate through several applications along with their friends.

The reports certainly suggest that the new updates are already rolling out to the users, but we are yet not clear about the fact whether how long will it take to roll out all the users of platform.  If you are lucky to have those features active on your Facebook, feel free to share your experience with us in the comment section.
