Apple’s 12 Days of Christmas Present kicks off in Europe and Canada

Apple has announced its 12 Days of Christmas app to mark the beginning of its annual holiday promotion that giveaway free songs, music videos, apps and books to the people living in Canada and certain parts of Europe.

Apple doesn’t opt to launch its promotion to customers in the United States. The app is currently offered for download from iTunes stores in Canada, United Kingdom and certain other select European countries.

Apple has been launching its 12-Day promotion for last four years that is valid from December 26 to January 6. The promotion is full of surprises for users of app and provides them with a free digital download from iTunes every day during this period. Apple started this year’s giveaway with a free copy of Coldplay’s live EP from the recent Apple-sponsored iTunes Festival in London.

According to Apple, the album offered will remain in inventory for download for 24 hours after which it will be removed. Luckily, the users of iTunes who don’t have iOS device can still sign up for daily email alerts and can access the available content via iTunes on their systems.
