The bug is in fact a received text that not only reboots your handset but also damage its ‘Messaging’ hub. The bug is really very annoying for the users. Users began to report this bug somewhere in the middle of this month and within few days Microsoft has announced that it seems that we are close to solution of the problem. However, the company don’t announce when actually the fix will be available.

Such types of issues not only damage the image of the company but also results in a huge question mark on company’s future prospects., such as any such thing will cause people to think how long will it be repeated in the products in future and they feel reluctant in buying company’s products, particularly for the companies which are smaller and younger in the market.

What we are expecting that Microsoft will hopefully complete its testing of the fix by this week and we can perhaps be able to see the release of the fix to the Windows Phone 7 users by the start of New Year. This may be far too late for the users affected by the bug, but Microsoft is certainly quick enough to respond to the complaints lodged by affectees of the SMS bug. It is also important to note here that not all the Windows Phone users are experiencing this problem. The SMS bug is bothering only a number of WP7 users.
