Google Introduces Advanced Filters for User Reviews on Android Market

Google has recently introduced two very handy filtering options for its web version of Android Market, such as ability to filter the reviews by device model or app version.

Once a user clicks on ‘User Review’ for any application, he/she will have the option to see reviews just for a certain version of the application.

Moreover, when you sign in your account, you will be able to filter the reviews by all devices connected to your account. It becomes handy when you want to know how an application behaves on a certain device in particular.

Above all, the new filtering options will allow you to filter the reviews based on individual ratings by clicking on them. All the new features will enable users to experience improved and advanced filtering options while on Android Market. For instance, you can opt to display very poor reviews (to say, 1 star) for the official Facebook app on a device say Samsung Galaxy S.

On its launch, Android Market had very limited number of options available. Later, the search giant started improving it service by introducing new options and advanced features on regular basis. The company also encourages its users to provide them with feedback and suggestions so that it will improve its services in the light feedback and suggestions received. It is important to note here that the current changes are only available in the web version of Android Market at the moment. So, attempting to access them through your smartphone would just a waste of effort.
