Nokia Begins Rolling Out its Lumia 710

Nokia recently announced its two Windows Phone handsets – Lumia 800 and Lumia 710. The Lumia 800 has already launched in November, while Lumia 710 has just begun to roll out, starting from Taiwan, according to Nokia press release.

In a press release, the Finnish mobile giant claims that Lumia 710 will be launched in Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Russia within next week, with its global rollout afterwards.

The Lumia 710 will be offered at an initial price of €270. The Lumia 710 sports a 3.7-inch WVGA TFT ClearBlack 800×480 touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera and a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Moreover, the new smartphone features Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) OS.

Following the launch of Lumia 800 – a relatively high-spec smartphone last month, bringing Nokia Lumia into the market clearly suggests Nokia’s intentions to keep the sales momentum going undisturbed.

Soon after the Lumia 710 user manual became available on the FCC website, presenting several pictures and images of the new device with T-Mobile branding, numerous reports surfaced claiming that the new device will most likely be launched at the forthcoming December 14 launch event of T-Mobile.

With a rollout beginning in Asia and Russia in less than a week clearly depicts Nokia’s preparation to launch its device all over the world. According to Nokia, US smartphone market is one of the most potential markets for its smartphone growth. The company is expecting to have a good turn around with its cost-effective smartphone.
