Nokia Releases an Update for Lumia 800

Nokia has finally released an update for Lumia 800 that will fix many issues reported previously by users, said Nokia. The news of update is announced on the Nokia Conversation blog, revealing that the update will be rolled out to users in a couple of weeks.

According to Nokia, the update will fix the following most common bugs:

  • Charging improvements
  • Voicemail notification improvement
  • Replying to mail improved for Microsoft Exchange 2003 users
  • Improved display switching in bright light
  • Improved audio quality

It is also said that the update is only available in the countries where the phone has officially been launched. So, you cannot expect to have it in United States for a while.

The company says that it has limited the number of simultaneous updates, which will be redeemed through Microsoft Zune download portal. Moreover, an update is also scheduled for early 2012, which will further improve the functionality of phone by fixing a number of bugs. Nokia also ensures that the update will also fix battery related woes.

So far, Nokia Lumia 800 appears to make a good impression. It has already sold out in United Kingdom. The most appreciating point is the Nokia’s approach towards its users. It is seriously considering the issues reported by users so as to offer a quality services to their users.
