iPhone 5 Ready for Production, Says Foxconn Employee

Apple has always been surrounded by rumors. Every now and then rumors surfaced about Apple and its future plans. 9to5Mac has recently reported while citing a Foxconn employee that Apple’s next generation smartphone is already in for final production and will assume to be launched by summer.

We have already saw a lot of rumors suggesting what to expect in the next generation iPhone 5, but the latest news is certainly carrying some weight, assuming only if the Foxconn employee’s news is right.

In addition to this, some other interesting information has also been shared by the source, such as size of the display, other structural tidbits that could bring significant modifications in the looks of the smartphone.

The source also told 9to5Mac that the new iPhone is currently in the selection process. Different designs and looks are under consideration, though all of them have one thing in common that is their 4-inch display screen. Inside the Apple camp, there has been in talks about bringing a new form factor in the design of the iPhone. Considering the changing trend of the smartphone market, Apple is very keen to ditch its existing 3.5-inch screen.

The most rumored teardrop shape is not reported by the source, claiming that none of the prototypes exhibit such design. However, all prototypes are wider and taller than the current iPhone, which is supposed to be given the increased screen size.

However, it is important to note here that none of these prototypes are considered as final versions; there is a possibility of aspects being changed in the final model. The only good thing we have noticed about these prototypes is their 4-inch screens

Like many other rumors, we cannot justify the authenticity of this report as well. Such types of rumors keep surfacing in the past as well, but not majority of them get any weight in the end.

We have to wait and see until Apple discloses some official information about its next generation smartphone.
