Opera Announces New Mobile Browser

Where many mobile manufacturers announcing their remarkable products at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Opera has also announced new versions of its Mini and Mobile web browser – including Opera Mini Next and Opera Mobile 12.

As far as Opera Mini Next is concerned, it is a preview of what is coming in the next version of Opera Mini – Opera’s browser, which works on Java-supporting feature phones and smartphones.

The browser also brought with it Facebook and Twitter integration via a feature called Smart Page, an opening screen, which offers you an easy access to social networking functions, news and other services.

However, the Smart Page will not present in the smartphone version of Opera Mini Next. Users of smartphone version will receive hardware acceleration and a redesigned speed dial that features an unlimited number of Speed Dial shortcuts.

Opera Mobile, the native smartphone browser of the company is now in its version 12 for Android and Symbian devices. The new version now offers WebGL support that will make it easier and simpler for developers to create and distribute cross-platform games. The browser also has support for Opera’s HTML 5 parser Ragnarok. Opera also includes more Speed Dial customization options and a support for camera use within the browser.
