Windows 8 Consumer Preview Coming February 29th

The Redmond-based software giant has sent invitations for its upcoming event in Barcelona, Spain scheduled for February 29th – Microsoft dubbed this event as “Windows Consumer Preview.”  What we assume that the event will be utilized to exhibit Consumer Preview and likely be released to the world.

As speculated, the date chosen by the software giant is perfectly aligned with what was speculated earlier that Microsoft will launch its Windows 8 Consumer Preview by the end of February.

Moreover, the company has promised to release more information about its product and event as the event approaches. Microsoft has just let us known what applications are supposed to be included in the Consumer Preview. Previously, the company revealed what gaming titles would launch with the code. There are still plenty of things to know about it, yet the beta of Windows 8 certainly securing its grounds.

We have approached the software giant to confirm whether the company has any plans to announce the Consumer Preview at the event. In response company had commented this way: “While we are excited to announce the Windows Consumer Preview event is in Barcelona on February 29th, unfortunately, at this time, we are not announcing additional information on the details of the event. Please continue to check the Microsoft News Center during the week of February 29th for updates and access to online content.”
